CD Authoring

CDs have become much less important these days. Nowadays, the final audio file is usually delivered as an audio file rather than a burned CD. It is therefore no longer possible to burn audio CDs directly from within Music Studio.

However, Music Studio still supports you in preparing files for creating audio CDs (Wave file with additional .cue file), which you can then burn using third-party software.

In addition to identifying individual CD tracks, CD track indexes are also used to add metadata for export to MP3 or other file formats, which is why the functions for creating and editing CD tracks are still included in Music Studio.

To display the buttons for editing CD projects on the top toolbar, select the workspace Mastering.
