Editing with a Playlist/Cutlist
From the Edit menu, choose Playlist/Cutlist and choose a command from the submenu to arrange regions in a playlist or cutlist.
A playlist/cutlist allows you to perform nondestructive editing by defining regions and arranging them to determine a playback order without modifying your original file. When you are done arranging the regions, Sound Forge Pro software can create a new file containing your final arrangement.
From the Edit menu, choose Playlist/Cutlist, and then choose Treat as Cutlist from the submenu to toggle between Playlist and Cutlist mode.
You can open the first playlist in a sound file by choosing Playlist/Cutlist from the View menu.
