Preparing a project for 360° movies

To create a 360° video or discover the interactive capacity of recorded video footage you have to set the project to a 360° project. To do so, select the Properties... option from the File menu or click the Project Properties button on the main toolbar .

In the Project Properties dialog, on the Video tab, check the 360° Output option.

This serves two purposes:

• In the Video Preview window, a special pan&scan 360° mode becomes available to change the viewpoint, the part of the 360° panorama that is shown in the video monitor.
• When rendering or uploading the video, special properties are set in the output video file to make sure the video is recognized as 360° by the player.
